Stephanie Finklea

I started this farm in 2020 when I bought my first home and decided to turn most of my yard into a growing space for food and chickens. Since then, I’ve expanded to a vacant lot and built meaningful connections with other small farmers by sharing market opportunities and offering technical support. With over 10 years of experience in small-scale growing and more than 6 years in garden education, I bring both passion and practical knowledge to everything I do. I’ve worked with programs like the Nebraska Department of Education’s Farm to School initiative and served as Director of Education at The Big Garden. My heart is in the local food system, and I’m committed to helping others grow—on their land and in their purpose.
